Can an average student get an MBA?

A popular myth surrounding MBA entrance exams, is that tougher the exam, the higher the quality of education of said business school. This could not be farther from the truth!

Barring CAT, which is conducted by IIMs, there are a number of MBA entrance exams that you can apply for, that dont demand sky-high scores and you don’t even have to worry about the quality of education there.

CMAT, NMAT and SNAP are some MBA entrance exams that are fairly easy, after clearing which you get access to some premier business schools.

SNAP is a prime example to understand this. It is conducted by the eminent Symbiosis International (Deemed University) for admission to their MBA programmes. At Symbiosis University you get to explore a number of fields for MBA such as: Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Computer Applications, Business Analytics, Data Management, International Business and many more such stimulating and relevant courses. All you have to do is take the SNAP test which is an online aptitude test to be held in December, 2019.

The test is divided into sections of General English, Data Interpretation, Current Affairs, and Analytical Reasoning. The test is in an objective format and spans over 2 hours.

An advantage you have in preparing for SNAP compared to other exams is that a majority of your preparation can be covered from the 9th and 10th standard CBSE syllabus.
In SNAP you will be tested on areas of Geometry, Series and Progression, Mean Median, Mode, and Probability. Along with these topics, revise Number Series, Alphabet Series, Line Graphs, Family Arrangements, and Statement Assumption and Conclusion to ace the Logical and Analytical Reasoning section. Staying updated on current affairs from the last 4-5 months is all you need to do well in the GK section.
As for General English, polish and refine skills of Reading Comprehension, Parajumbles, and Sentence Correction and you’re all set for this section.

Once you are through with studying the subject matter, keep a check on your test-taking speed and you are sure to excel in your SNAP exam 2019.
